Will change Bundelkhand like Kutch: Modi

"In five years, we will change Bundelkhand, which has not seen any advancement in the last 70 years...mineral rich Bundelkhand can change the destiny of Uttar Pradesh, unlawful mining must be halted and satellites can be utilized to check surreptitious exercises," he said.

The BJP had guaranteed that if voted to control, a self-ruling advancement block would be set for the area and its working checked on a week after week premise, he said.

"Some think there is no hope in Bundelkhand...it can be made No.1 in the State...there is Kutch locale in Gujarat ...20 years back if any administration staff was posted there, it was considered 'kala pani' (Andaman's Cellular Jail)," he said.
