"Along these lines we don't expect to go into any open deliberation to the extent a National Song is concerned," says Bench.
"There is no understanding of a 'National Song'," the Supreme Court saw on Friday.
The court dismisses a request to guide the Center to outline a national approach under Article 51A (crucial obligations) of the Constitution to advance and proliferate the National Anthem, National Flag and 'National Song'.
"Article 51A just says the National Flag and National Anthem. The Article does not allude to a National Song," Justice Dipak Misra saw in a short request, dismissing the supplication of applicant and BJP representative Ashwini Upadhyay.
"Hence we don't plan to go into any level headed discussion to the extent a National Song is concerned," the Bench, likewise containing Justices R. Banumathi and S.M. Mallikarjunagouda, watched.
The supplication by Mr. Upadhyay said that India is a Union of States and not an affiliation or confederation of States.
The court likewise dismisses a supplication to make the rendering of the National Anthem necessary in workplaces, courts, administrative houses and the parliament.
In any case, the court "kept alive" the supplication that schools ought to play or sing the National Anthem on working days.
"Notwithstanding the singing of National Anthem on schools on each working day, different petitions stand rejected," Justice Misra said.
