The Madras High Court has consented to hear on Tuesday a request of testing the trust vote won by the Edappadi K. Palaniswami legislature of Tamil Nadu.
On Saturday, Speaker Dhanapal announced that the AIADMK government had won the Motion of Confidence with 122 votes surveyed in support, after the DMK individuals were ousted and the Congress and IUML MLAs exited. Revolt AIADMK MLAs supporting previous Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam voted against the movement.
The Speaker hosted rejected the Opposition gatherings' request of voting through mystery tally. Hence, viciousness ejected in the House and the DMK individuals were forciblly ousted frim the House by Assembly Marshals.
The DMK had moved the court testing the trust vote.
