Security offices and fringe guarding powers on Wednesday made first seizure of a "huge committal" of fake notes of Rs. 2000 section along the India-Bangladesh outskirt.
Upwards of 100 notes of Rs. 2000 division were seized at Churiantpur in Kaliachak square, Malda region. The notes were tossed over the fringe fence from Bangladesh for an Indian messenger to convey to inside the Indian domain. Security work force were available at the spot when the dispatch was tossed into the Indian side and grabbed the committal.
The advancement comes after the capture of 21-year-old Indian national Umar Faruq on Tuesday. He was needed in FICN (Fake Indian Currency Note) carrying cases prior.
As per National Investigating Agency (NIA), a non-bailable warrant of capture dated July 22, 2016 was issued by the Special NIA Court, Patna, against Faruq.
He was captured from Gopalganj in Malda when he would hand over specimens of Rs 2000 fake notes to another FICN criminal.
Subsequent to grilling him, the authorities of the Border Security Force (BSF) and NIA came to think about the extensive committal traverse to the Indian side.
The notes captured before along the fringe came in little numbers and examining organizations gathered those examples to break down what number of security elements have been traded off.

"The nature of the notes seized today are marginally superior to anything the specimens we caught before," a senior security officer disclosed to The Hindu.
