Sasikala, Palaniswami reserved for 'keeping MLAs illicitly'

Chennai The Kancheepuram police has booked AIADMK interval general secretary V.K. Sasikala and recently chose AIADMK lawmaking body party pioneer Edappadi K. Palaniswami for supposedly keeping party MLAs wrongfully at Golden Bay resort in Koovathur.

They have been reserved under different segments of IPC including, Sections 366 (seizing) and 506 (1) (criminal terrorizing).

The AIADMK MLAs have been held up at the private resort on the Est Coast Road since last Tuesday after Chief Minister Panneerselvam rebelled against gathering's choice to choose Sasikala as the council party pioneer.

The MLAs at the resort, be that as it may, are denying that they have been confined and say they are here "on their on will."

On Wednesday, Kanchipuram SP Mutharasi and a group of police authorities went to Golden Bay resort and directed enquiry after a protest stopped by Madurai south MLA Saravanan.

Mr. Saravanan, who joined the OPS camp on Monday, asserted he got away from the resort as MLAs were not permitted to leave the place.

He had recorded an agreeable that MLAs were abducted and debilitated at resort.

Affirming that the MLAs were addressed by the police, Radhapuram MLA I S. Inbadurai stated, "The consistent is false and finished with malified goal."

Police are getting free articulations from the MLAs on why they are at the resort.
