Feb 15, 2017-Russia won't hand back control of Crimea to Ukraine, Russia's remote service said on Wednesday, reacting to remarks from the White House that the United States expected the Black Sea promontory to be returned.
"We don't give back our own particular domain. Crimea is domain having a place with the Russian Federation," Maria Zakharova, representative for the Russian Foreign Ministry, told a news preparation.
On Tuesday, the White House said U.S. President Donald Trump had made it clear that he anticipates that Russia will surrender control of the domain.
Russia attached Crimea in 2014, provoking the United States and the European Union to force endorses on Russia, diving Western relations with the Kremlin to their most exceedingly bad level since the finish of the Cold War.
