PM Agri Modernisation Project programs neglect to take off

The projects arranged under the Prime Minister Agriculture Modernisation Project have not begun in Bara region.

In spite of the fact that Rs 31.62 million has been apportioned for executing the projects through the District Agricultural Development Office, Bara, the projects have not been actualized even eight months after the spending designation under this head.

The Ministry of Agriculture had given Rs 44.565 million to actualizing different projects in the area through the locale rural advancement office for the monetary year 2017/2018.

Programs like the President Chure Tarai Madhes Conservation Program with a spending cost of Rs 4.085 million, the cooperatives cultivating and little water system program with a budgetary expense of Rs 3.9 million, the fine-grain and sweet-smelling paddy generation program with a cost of Rs 2.16 million, the extraordinary horticultural creation program with a financial plan of one million rupees and the incorporated yield and water administration program with a budgetary expense of Rs 660 thousand have not taken off.
