Israel, Egypt, Jordan subtly talked peace

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met covertly a year prior with the pioneers of Egypt and Jordan in a fizzled endeavor by the Barack Obama organization to meet a more extensive local summit on Israeli-Palestinian peace, Israel's Haaretz every day said on Sunday.

Refering to unidentified senior authorities in Mr. Obama's organization, Haaretz said Mr. Netanyahu, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Jordan's King Abdullah and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met on Feb. 21, 2016 in the Jordanian Red Sea resort of Aqaba. In any case, the activity to include other Arab states in the quest for peace with the Palestinians at last failed, the daily paper stated, after Mr. Netanyahu pulled back his underlying backing, indicating restriction inside his legislature.
