Indian national captured with 1.5 kg gold from TIA

Tribhuvan International Airport Customs Department has captured a man possessing 1.5 kg gold on Sunday.

TIA traditions authorities captured Kantilal Kashyap, a Dubai-conceived Indian national, from the air terminal premises after he was discovered wearing two neck chain and an arm jewelery measuring half kilos each.

Kashyap had touched base in Kathmandu from an Air Arabia flight from Dubai at 12 pm.

The market estimation of the reallocated gold is Rs7.1 million.

Traditions authorities speculate that the captured individual wore the gold on himself to dodge baggage check.

Kashyap's travel permit uncovered that he had gone by Kathmandu on July 2016 and returned back on February 6. The authorities likewise trust that Kashyap's successive visit to Kathmandu could imply that he is included in gold carrying.

Kashyap, initially from Ahmedabad, India, holds an international ID issued from United Arab Emirates.

Prior on January 5, Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police had captured three people and seized 33 kg of gold from their ownership at the TIA.
