Father found attempting to assault visually impaired and hard of hearing 94-year-old in her home imprisoned in 'profoundly stunning, shocking' case

A father who was found attempting to assault a visually impaired and hard of hearing 94-year-old lady in her home has been imprisoned for a long time.

Gregory Willis constrained his way into the house where the casualty was living with relatives and was discovered stooping on her bed with no pants on.

The 94-year-old, who was so slight she was not able convey, was likewise bare starting from the waist after Willis had expelled her garments.

He conceded robbery yet denied endeavored assault and was discovered blameworthy after a trial.

The casualty was just saved a surprisingly more terrible trial after individuals from her family who were at the house in Grantham, Lincs, found the front entryway open and went to examine.

Judge John Pini QC, passing sentence, told Willis: "The conditions of this case are as profoundly stunning, alarming and horrifying as could be envisioned.

"The casualty is 94 years old.

"She had not much sooner than this left a nursing home to be administered to in a protected, adoring condition for the rest of a great time.

"She was enrolled visually impaired, in need of a hearing aide, had no fleeting memory, had poor adjust and was doubly incontinent. She couldn't impart.

"She was as fragile and helpless as it is conceivable to be."

Jonathan Straw, arraigning, said the episode occurred as the casualty's relatives talked in a back room.

He stated: "There came a moment that they saw that the front way to the house was open. Promptly they were concerned.

"They went into the lounge room and there they saw this litigant in the room.

"His pants were evacuated. He had his boxer shorts on and his penis uncovered."

"The casualty was sleeping, The spreads had been pulled back and her pajama bottoms had been pulled off.

"Had he not been bothered, as leniently he seemed to be, he would assault that 94 year old woman in that bed."

Willis was requested out of the house however soon a short time later returned and thumped on the entryway.

Police were reached by the family and Willis was confined close-by.

He was looked and the way to the family's auto was found on him.

The jury was informed that the casualty passed away four months after the episode despite the fact that her demise was not associated with the endeavored assault.

Willis, 25, of Grantham, Lincs, conceded rape yet denied endeavored assault saying that despite the fact that he had no memory of what happened, he could never have submitted such an awful offense.

"He was clearly affected by something," said Mr Watson.
