Cricketer drives auto on to Andheri station stage

Ranji cricket player Harpeet Singh drove his auto straight onto the stage no. 1 of the bustling Andheri rural railroad station here at 7.20 a.m. on Monday, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) official said.

The auto was reallocated by the RPF and Mr. Singh was arrested and tested, he said.

He is probably going to be reserved under areas of the Railway Act.

The episode brought about confusion at the railroad station as day by day suburbanites were racing to catch trains to their workplaces.
